At Kauno klinikos, communication is more than information sharing – it is a strategic function that strengthens trust, builds reputation, and connects one of the largest university hospitals in the Baltics with its diverse stakeholders locally and internationally.

Our Communication Department ensures that the voice of Kauno klinikos reflects our values of excellence, innovation, and responsibility. Through a proactive and data-driven approach, we highlight the hospital’s achievements in clinical care, research, and education, while ensuring transparent and timely communication with patients, employees, partners, and the wider society.

Core functions of the Communication Department:
– Preparing and distributing content across digital, print, and broadcast channels.
– Cultivating strong relations with national and international media, coordinating press events, and ensuring accurate and trusted representation of Kauno klinikos.
– Managing the official website and social platforms, as well as publishing a digital weekly newspaper "Ave Vita", the institutional newspaper for the Kauno klinikos and the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.  
– Crisis communication - leading transparent and coordinated messaging in critical situations to protect public trust and organizational resilience.
– Reputation management, monitoring, and analyzing media coverage.
– Community and corporate events – planning and delivering initiatives that engage patients, employees, and the public.
– Internal communication – ensuring our 8000+ employees remain informed, aligned, and motivated by providing clear updates on key decisions, changes, and organizational strategic priorities.
